Normensand GmbH is a German company that produces different kinds of test sand. The main product is used for cement production control.
The company was founded 1954 by 23 cement plant companies. The premises used for the production of standard sand, were rented up to 1989, at which point they were purchased outright as part of an expansion of production. The production facility and the equipment have been continuously improved.
